Introducing DC4Work

The project DC4WORK (Work-based learning in a digital age Promoting digital competences for better employability & innovation) deals with the necessary digital competences that a workplace 4.0 requires. A digitally well-positioned company is supported by employees who have professional digital knowledge and skills. The aim is to increase the digital competence of the employees and thus to promote the competitiveness and job security in the companies.

The project addresses:
  • Small and medium-sized companies in the sectors tourism and retail.
  • Companies with a need for digital know-how.

How to benefit from the project results:
  • EU-wide study on workplace 4.0 - Guideline for internal staff 4.0 to promote digital competences at the workplace
  • Freely accessible online learning package
  • Toolbox for staff 4.0

Invitation: Your expertise is in demand!

What does it mean to be digitally competent at work and how do companies recognize and handle skills shortages?
In order to find this out, we will carry out a survey among businesses in the coming 2 months, and we would like to invite you to participate.

The survey clarifies the current situation of companies, specifically in the sectors of tourism and trade, related to their awareness and demands of digital skills of their employees. As a basis, the survey uses the European Framework of Reference for Digital Competences, similar to the European Reference Framework for Languages, and works with different sub-skills and levels.

We invite you to take part in the online survey, just follow this link:
(The survey is available in English, German, Portuguese)

If you are interested in sharing your experiences or actively engaging yourself in the upcoming interview phase, please contact us directly.
