Dear Supporter,

Welcome to the penultimate TLC newsletter of 2014. December is upun us and amongst all the chaos that it brings I hope you are enjoy the festive period whatever that may entail. It has taken a bit longer than anticipated but Liam's fund is now on the cusp of reaching the £40,000 milestone; which in turn will have funded 10,000 calls to ChildLine.

It gives me great pleasure to share with you that Liam's mum completed her own challenge for TLC by taking part in the NSPCC's 10 Mile London HACK joined by Fran, Sharon, Chelsea and Jenny (Picture Above).

The team raised an impressive £650 in total, adding too the £155 raised from our Summer Comedy Night, £595 from Stuart and Andrew's Duathlon and £400 from Matthew and Sians London Marathon (2015) donation page. This has now brought us within £1,400 of the our next milestone. You can view all the write ups to these events and more by visiting our Story So Far page on TLC website.

In Other News...
For those who follow the TLC social networking sites you will already be aware of the recent news that I have now begun working for the NSPCC's Individual Giving Team. My efforts for ChildLine in memory of Liam will very much remain something I do in my spare time and on a voluntary basis, but this is something I am very excited about and very grateful for the opportunity.
Although I have not been as active on the fundraising part, with the support of my good friend Michael, we have revamped the TLC website to give it a new look ahead of next year's push to reach the halfway mark of the £100,000 intended target for Liam and ChildLine. We are hoping that the new version will be more user friendly to better showcase everyone's efforts in momory of Liam.
I had the pleasure of being welcomed back to Wallington County Grammar to support their Anti-Bullying prject with their year 8s. Where after listening to my story about Liam they had to create their own campaign for Anti-Bullying. The whole day, from beginning to end, was nothing short of amazing. It was clear to see that the students had really put a significant amount of thought and consideration to what impact bullying has on the lives of others and it would have been hard for someone not to be touched by many of the ideas put forward, and the thought that went into each presentation.

One group of students will be implimenting their projects and organising a fundraiser in the coming weeks with the proceeds going towards Liam's fund so I am very much looking forward to the outcome.
Hunters: Estate Agents Christmas Raffle in Aid of TLC
Tomorrow and Saturday I will be joining in with the festivities Carshalton High Street to support Hunters Estate Agent's final push to sell raffle tickets before the draw which will take place on Monday 8th December. This has very much been spearheaded by Hunters employees Stacey and Bradley who have managed to accumulate a fantastic bundle of prizes due to the fantastic support from the local shops along the high street its been a real community effort.

Tickets are priced at £1 each and every strip purchased comes with a free TLC wristband. A full list of the prizes can be found on the Hunters Estate Agents Facebook page. So, if you're in town pop along to Hunters and say "Hi".
I am very hopeful that by the new year that I am able to share with you that Liam's fund has reached the £40,000 mark and that officially Liam's legacy has resulted in an additional 10,000 extra cries for help being answered. This will set things up nicely as we try to reach the mid-way total in 2015.

With Thanks
