Magic “On Tap” at Button Farm

Button Farm welcomes Capitol Tap and District Tap this Saturday!
Saturday May 22, 2021/ 12:00-3:00pm
16820 Black Rock Road, Germantown, MD 20874

See our Calendar of events  to purchase your parking pass and reservation for May 22 and to make reservations for upcoming adventures at Button Farm!

Catch a working rehearsal of Capitol Tap and District Tap, pre-professional tap dance ensembles, as they finish up their seasons refining their historical and contemporary repertoire works.

These intergenerational dancers, ages 9 through adult, experienced a mostly virtual season, and bringing their foot music to the outdoor space at Button Farm allows visitors to also enjoy their process.

Founder and director Lisa Swenton-Eppard and assistant artistic director Baakari Wilder, both residents of Montgomery County, MD, lead these multi-generational artists to become the next generation of tap musicians, dancers, historians, improvisers, technicians, educators, and performers.

Normally in residence at Knock On Wood Tap Studio in Washington, DC these amazing artists will be practicing live in the farm Pavilion, so come out and experience the magic of tap!
