“Lock & Roll” as KC Parks celebrates Locktober! The fun starts with a ribbon cutting for the new Minor Park Connector Trail. Bike, walk or skate down the 1-mile length of trail with friends and family and then head on over to the Old Red Bridge for complimentary bottled water or a gluten-free Red Bridge Beer (for those 21 and over). And of course, don’t forget to bring your love locks! A station will be available to decorate your locks before adding them to the ever-growing collection on the bridge. Whether you’re locking your love for a family member, special someone or favorite pet, your lock is welcome on the beautiful Old Red Bridge anytime but especially during Locktober!
