Input on Aquatics
KC Parks is continuing to gather input to help assess the conditions of KCMO aquatic facilities. Our next session will be in the Northland from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17th at Line Creek Community Center, 5940 NW Waukomis Dr. KCMO This event is open to the public. More>>
Tree & Bench Program 
Our Commemorative Tree & Bench Program allows friends and family the opportunity to honor loved ones by purchasing a tree or bench to be placed in an available location established and maintained by KC Parks staff. The deadline for Spring tree planting is Feb 1st. More>>
Kessler Park Open House
The Kessler Park Improvement Plan Process began in the spring of 2022 and is now in its final stage. Join us on Saturday, February 4th,11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce for the Final Open House of the planning process. More>>
Volunteer for KC Parks
The KC Parks Ambassadors had another record-breaking year helping to beautify our city via:
*354 projects
*3,000 lbs. of glass recycled from parks
*5,041 volunteers
*9,659 volunteer hours
*$289,287 of service value

MLK Day Nature Walk
The weather forecast looks great for our annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Nature Walk on the banks of Brush Creek. KC Parks and the Heartland Conservation Alliance invite you to honor the spirit, work, and relevant words of Dr. King, Jr. on Monday, January 16th by participating in the restorative nature walk led by Nova Clarke from U.S. Fish and Wildlife. More>>
