Happy Weekend!
We've been quiet around here as a big change has been in the works. We're moving! While it's a bittersweet thought to move from Ballard, where, with your support, we've grown from a small office to both the store and studio in the past three years, we couldn't be more excited to finally announce our upcoming move to a beautiful, and bigger, new space. After starting in a historic neighborhood, we are pleased as punch to be moving to another one, Seattle's first, Pioneer Square.
Join us as early as August 29th at 301 Occidental Avenue S...Seattle, WA 98104 and save the date for Friday, September 5th, when we break out the bubbly, door prizes and other fun for our opening party!
A few highlights:
- More class space and machines
- Extended store hours
- Additional classes, including many outside of the world of sewing (dyeing, macrame, hand lettering and more)
- New products and more special events
- Located on the corner of Occidental and Main Street on the Occidental Pedestrian Mall
- Convenient from the train, ferries and I-5
- And most important - a real front door and sixty feet of windows:)!!
We'll be announcing our fall schedule in the next couple of weeks and can't wait to share what we have in store for the new space!
Please know that all currently scheduled classes through August 23rd will be held in Ballard. All classes after August 24th will be at the new location. We will update with our closure dates for the move in the weeks ahead.
And lastly, thank you for choosing Drygoods Design! Our customers who come from both near and far to visit the store and shop with us online brighten each day and we look forward to even more fun as we transition to a new storefront and combined studio space.
More soon,
Keli + Co.
p.s. each week brings more new arrivals - if you haven't been in the store or on the site, check it out! The next week brings more cottons, including Cotton + Steel, Liberty, Violet Craft, Anna Maria Horner substrates, and plenty of notions and supplies!
