New Look for OSBA Newsletter

As part of OSBA’s transition and “moving forward” agenda – the OSBA newsletter has undergone some construction and redesign....and will continue to evolve.  We are hoping that members will find this new format a lot quicker and easier to review industry news and information.  We would sincerely appreciate receiving your opinions and suggestions.  A majority of on-line newsletters are done in this set-up and have moved away from the hazards of a PDF attachment format.  We are also hoping that this more streamlined presentation will lend itself to valuable exposure opportunities through advertisements.  If you are interested in placing an ad, please contact Megan at mspadafora@osba.on.ca.  Your feedback is very important – please send us your comments and ideas on how this newsletter could be improved for format and content – info@osba.on.ca.

OSBA on Breakfast Television (City TV)

Check out the following link http://www.bttoronto.ca/videos/2763873567001/ to see OSBA’s Vice President Les Cross of Stock Transportation communicating a very important message of thanks to all school bus drivers in the province and across Canada.  Last week was School Bus Safety week in Ontario and Wed. Oct. 23rd was “School Bus Driver Appreciation Day”.  OSBA bus operator owners and school board/transportation consortia managers across the province recognize the extraordinary efforts, skills and contributions provided by school bus drivers on a daily basis.  It is no easy feat to carry over 800,000 children safely, reliably and on-time to school each and every day.  As front line ambassadors dealing with an incredible array of issues, OSBA extends a sincere and heartfelt congratulations and thank you to all drivers for their monumental contributions to the school bus industry.  Without the professionalism and willingness of school bus drivers everywhere, there would be no school bus service.  If you have a special story about a driver in your area or organization, please don’t hesitate to send it along to OSBA – info@osba.on.ca
