Trek for Tourette – News from Tourette Canada Home Office

Thank you for helping to make our 2021 virtual Trek for Tourette a success. We couldn’t have done it without your tremendous support.
With our 13th annual Trek now behind us, we are getting ready to wrap things up for 2021. As part of this process, we ask that you please help us out by submitting any offline pledges you have raised and/or collected from Trek participants in your community. All pledges collected offline should be sent to Home Office for processing, tracking and reconciliation.

We are not asking you to collect cash and cheques from participants this year! If you have already done that for some, thank you but it is not necessary for you to do this for all.

As always, pledges collected offline will be added to any online pledges received in order to calculate total funds raised per community and for prize distribution. In order for us to wrap-up our 2021 Trek and ensure prizes are distributed in a timely fashion, cash and cheque donations must be received at our Home Office in Mississauga, Ontario by Friday, June 18, 2021. We have seen some delays in mail delivery through Canada Post due to Covid-19 so please plan accordingly and allow at least 7-10 days for your pledges to reach Tourette Canada’s Home Office.

Please follow the steps below to complete the process.

1) Do not send cash in the mail!
2) If you have cash pledges, you may do one of the following:

  1. Deposit the cash into your bank account and write a cheque to Tourette Canada for the same amount. Mail your cheque to Tourette Canada’s Home Office at the address provided below
  2. Deposit cash into your personal bank account and send an e-transfer to Kathie James at bookkeeper@tourette.ca for the full amount of the cash collected

3) Mail all cheques to Tourette Canada’s Home Office at:
5955 Airport Road, Suite #245
Mississauga, ON, Canada L4V 1R9
