DSDJ Issue 4: Launch Date: April 8th, 2014

The Deaf Studies Digital Journal is pleased to announce a Call for Submissions for Issue #4, Spring 2014.

"Gallaudet at 150: The Past, Present and Future"

Articles

150 years after the founding of Gallaudet, we may reflect on the past, explore the present and speculate on the future of this venerable institution. We are seeking submissions of articles in ASL and English that explore the history, present and future of Gallaudet University and its impact on society.   Articles may focus on particular aspects of Gallaudet history, or the role Gallaudet has played in contributing to humanities, social changes and so on. These and many other questions may inform the contributions to DSDJ’s Issue #4.

DSDJ features articles in a multilingual format.  We accept work submitted in ASL, English, International Sign and other sign languages are welcomed as long as accompanied by International Sign or ASL.

If you are interested in submitting an article, please submit the DSDJ Statement of Interest (including outline and up to 5 minute video in ASL) that details the procedure we have in place for peer review.  The following deadlines must be met:
