Downtown Ghostwalk: Oct. 23, 24, 29 & 30
Join us if you dare...

Join us as costumed guides recount spooky tales on a lantern-lit tour of downtown Peterborough’s most haunted homes, public buildings and burial grounds.

Once a Doctor's home now the John Howard Society.
Eerie tales abound as we visit the Whiskey Club, Peterborough Public Library, John Howard Society, County Courthouse and the former YMCA.
We'll meet and end the tour at Peterborough's oldest burial ground dating back to 1819. In 1907 six skulls and an assortment of bones were unearthed here.
Friendly guides will escort you by lamp light.
In all you will be introduced to fourteen different haunts with tales of murder, deception, hangings, poison and dogs that howl in the night. You will learn about various ghosts that haunt downtown buildings including Ab, a ghost that can only be appeased by leaving him bottles of Labatt's 50 Ale.

Tours leave from the Cenotaph directly across from City Hall. Please arrive prior to 7:00 PM and bring your ticket or proof of purchase.

Wear good walking shoes and suitable clothing for the weather. Ghosts don't seem to mind the cold and wet so regardless of the weather the tour will go on.

TVA tours are an entertainment bargain. This tour is just $10 and reservations are recommended as only a limited number of tickets will be sold for each tour.

For tickets call (705) 745-4404 or buy online.
