Link your flash briefing to an Alexa routine in 30 seconds or less:

#1. If you're not already listening to flash briefings, start today!

They are THE best way to get your morning news update -- or just a dose of inspiration to start your day (Everyday Positivity is one of my favorites!). Flash briefings are perfect when you want info fast, and since they’re just 2-4 minutes long you'll have time to listen to a few before you scoot out the door. Check out VoiceBrew’s 7 best flash briefings for some ideas to get you started. Once you've located a flash briefing you want to add to your personal flash briefing list, just tap/click the "Enable" button.

#2. Add your flash briefing to a morning Alexa routine so you'll never forget to listen

Here’s how to easily create an Alexa routine and add your flash briefing in a few simple steps (it take only seconds). I recommend triggering your morning Alexa routine to start when you dismiss your Alexa alarm -- it's a sure way to help get you up and out of bed! (And be sure you've customized your flash briefing by adding your favorite briefings as that's what Alexa will play.)

#3. A morning Alexa routine is the best way to get yourself up and out of bed

Wake up to your favorite morning tunes on your Echo speakers, gradually turn on your bedroom lights, brew your morning coffee (all you need is an Alexa smart plug!) and get weather and traffic updates -- and of course your Alexa flash briefing! You can easily create an Alexa routine for just about anything.
