3 pro tips to take listening to Alexa flash briefings to the next level

#1. Add your flash briefing to a morning Alexa routine

That way, you'll get your flash briefing every morning without even having to ask! Create an Alexa routine that will provide your flash briefing, weather and traffic updates when you say "Alexa, good morning."

#2. Order your Alexa flash briefings so your favorite ones play first

Just open your Alexa app > tap the hamburger icon in the upper left corner > tap "Settings" > scroll down to tap "Flash Briefing" > tap "Edit" in the upper right corner > tap and hold the two horizontal lines icon to the right of the flash briefing you want to move and drag it up or down > tap "Done" once you've ordered your flash briefings the way you want!

#3. Members of your household can easily subscribe to different flash briefings

Just be sure Alexa is set to your account, and when you say "Alexa, play my flash briefing" you'll hear the ones you added to your list. To switch to your account, just say "Alexa, switch to (your name)'s account."

Alexa can now provide users in the UK with medical info

Alexa can now respond to UK users' medical questions with information from the country's National Health Service, which provides healthcare for more than 66 million Brits. When asked about common illnesses, Alexa will automatically search the NHS website for relevant information.

In the US, Amazon has established partnerships with hospital systems and insurance companies that allow Alexa to transfer sensitive patient health information in a HIPAA-complaint manner -- such as scheduling hospital appointments and reading blood sugar results.
