Just say "Alexa, open 7-minute workout!"
A quick at-home workout will leave you feeling good, and, according to the CDC, exercising regularly is one of the best ways to relieve the coronavirus-fueled stress we're all feeling right now.
I highly recommend Alexa's 7-minute workout skill (and I'm not alone, as the skill has 4,000+ reviews and 4.5 stars!) for a bunch of reasons...
- Beginner friendly - The workouts center around familiar & easy activities like jumping jacks and stepping up onto a chair
- Something for everyone - When you first open the skill, you'll choose between low-impact, standard and advanced workouts
- Go at your pace - Alexa asks if you're ready before moving to the next activity. Say "no" if you need a quick break
- See helpful images of different activities - If you have an Echo Show, you'll get this bonus feature
Pro Tip: If you want to work out in a room where you don't have an Echo speaker, just open the skill via the Alexa app on your phone. Open the app > tap the "Alexa" icon in the middle of the bottom navigation bar and say "open 7-minute workout!"

Check out the My Better Nutrition Alexa skill from dietician Ashley Koff for tips on easy, nutritious snacks and meals. This is a high quality Alexa skill, and I've found the recommendations to be helpful and sensible.
Just say "Alexa, open My Better Nutrition" for a daily nutrition tip, a pep talk or to ask a question like "What breakfast will give me more energy?"
Today's tip? When you eat while you do something else (like driving or household chores), your body doesn't do as good a job at digesting, which can leave you feeling icky and bloated. Good to know!
