From slam dunks to touchdowns, see 3 ways Alexa helps you keep score:

#1. Get news updates and track scores for your favorite sports teams

“Alexa, what’s my sports update?” is all you need to say to get the latest news and scores for your favorite teams. But first, you have to tell Alexa who they are. Tap/click here to see how to customize your top teams in 30 seconds or less.

#2. Alexa is the easiest way to tune into sports radio

For your fill of sports, try ESPN radio by saying, “Alexa, play ESPN radio.” And if ESPN isn’t your flow, there are a slew of other sports stations worth checking out, including numberFire News and SiriusXM’s sports channels.

#3. Go head-to-head in fantasy football

Yahoo’s award-winning fantasy sports app is available on Alexa! Follow your leagues’ standings, matchups, points and more. Tap/click here to enable Yahoo Fantasy Football > tap/click the "Enable" button. Then try "Alexa, ask Yahoo Fantasy Football about my team’s bye status" or "Alexa, ask Yahoo Fantasy Football if I have any injuries on my roster."

Pro Tip: For advice on your leagues, enable the Fantasy Football Nerd skill to ask questions such as "Alexa, ask Fantasy Football Nerd if I should trade Aaron Rodgers for Russell Wilson."

Alexa can also provide updates on your local high school's football scores!

Starting this fall, Amazon and ScoreStream are collaborating to deliver real-time scores for local high school football teams for thousands of games across the country. All you'll have to say is "Alexa, what is the [high school] [mascot] high school football score?" to get updates on games in your area. Tap/click here to read more.
