Love yoga? So do I. But if you’re like me, sitting at a desk all day might be retightening those muscles you've worked so hard to strengthen and stretch. Enter the Desk Yoga Alexa skill. It's perfect for a mid-afternoon break from work and helps stretch tense neck and shoulder muscles in just a few minutes. To start, just say “Alexa, start desk yoga.”
#2. Let Alexa guide you through a short meditation
Meditation is a perfect replacement for that 3pm cup of coffee (ok, let’s be honest, we’re still enjoying that afternoon coffee, too). Meditating in the middle of the day helps us recharge and hone in on the tasks we still have to accomplish before the end of the day. Next time you’re feeling frazzled with looming deadlines, take 5 minutes to recharge with the Headspace Alexa skill. To enable this skill, tap/click here > tap/click the "Enable" button. Then, just say “Alexa, open Headspace” to get started.

#3. Stop counting sheep, and listen to relaxing sounds instead
Do you have a hard time falling asleep? White noise machines have been around for decades, but now sleep sounds are easier to turn on than ever thanks to Alexa. My favorite is rain sounds: it takes me straight out of my busy day and into a world where the sounds of falling rain gently soothe me to sleep. Just say “Alexa, play rain sounds” to lull yourself to bed tonight.
