Create your own custom news program with video flash briefings

Queue up video flash briefings just like you'd queue up a music playlist

Flash briefings are 2-4 minute long updates from various outlets, and you can add as many as you want to your customized Alexa flash briefing list. When you say "Alexa, what's the news?" Alexa will play the ones you added one after the other. Watching Alexa video flash briefings on your Echo Show is like tuning into a short TV news program made just for you. Audio-only flash briefings are great too.

Check out some of our favorite video flash briefings

To add any of these to your customized flash briefing list, just tap the link to it below then tap "Enable."

  • Reuters -- Fact-based reporting without sensational and option stories
  • Cheddar -- Tech and business news in bite-sized updates
  • CNN, CNBC & Fox News -- Popular news outlets that go the extra mile with video flash briefings on the top stories of the day
  • People -- Stay up to date on celebrity gossip and the latest Hollywood drama
  • The Tonight Show -- Why not watch Jimmy Fallon's opening monologue for some laughs?
When you've added a few flash briefings, just say "Alexa, what's the news?" or "Alexa, play my flash briefing."
