Man stretching his arms in bed

Start your day feeling good with these 2 Alexa skills:

#1. Reach for the sky (and stretch!)

You know the feeling of a good stretch: your alarm goes off, you climb out of bed and take a nice, big stretch towards the ceiling. There’s a reason it feels SO good: it’s actually beneficial for your health! In just 5 minutes, the Daily Stretch Alexa skill will run you through a simple but effective stretching routine -- you can even request a specific stretch for your shoulder or hamstring or another muscle you’d like to target. To enable this skill, tap/click here > tap/click the "Enable" button. Then, just say “Alexa, open Daily Stretch” to get started.

Pro Tip: If you have an Echo Show, you can follow along with images of the stretch!

#2. In just 7 minutes, Alexa can lead you through a fun and effective workout

While an hour at the gym every morning isn’t feasible for most of us, we can all find an extra 7 minutes to get our blood pumping. The 7-minute workout Alexa skill gives you randomized activities like jumping jacks, planks and wall sits you can do at home -- and the ability to pause for breaks! To enable this skill, tap/click here > tap/click the "Enable" button. Then, just say “Alexa, open 7-minute workout” to get started.

Pro Tip: Get a workout in even when you’re traveling -- just invoke the skill via the Alexa app on your phone.
