Launched in February, the Hawaii Insurance Licensee Services website enables 24/7 access to license searches, license renewals, continuing education searches and our newest feature, printing a license. Now users can print their license instantly at no cost and the department saves time and money by no longer having to issue paper certificates. In a statement made by Insurance Commissioner Gordon Ito “We’re extremely pleased to offer this new online service, which has been highly requested from the insurance industry. This is a continuation of the Insurance Division’s efforts to provide easy, efficient, and paperless online services for our licensees.” Learn more
In January, HIC partnered with the Office of Homeland Security to build their website on the WordPress platform. The primary purpose of the project was to create an online presence where none existed before, to allow all the branches within their department the ability to share information and engage with the public by promoting cyber security events, sharing information on available grants and informing citizens where they can report suspicious activity. The site was designed to be fully responsive, meet ADA accessibility requirements, and allow quick and easy updates so the agency can easily manage their content without technical staff. Learn more

Every year there are more hunters who want to hunt than there are permits available. For years, DoFAW has selected who gets to go with a combo of coins pulled out of a barrel, and an antiquated DOS system which was on its last legs. They came to us for assistance in bringing the process online starting with a single lottery on the island of Lanai to hunt Axis Deer. The lottery occurred on January 5, 2018 and attracted many members of the public both as spectators and participants, and the project was deemed by all to be an overwhelming success.
