The Porirua team start planning for a new Living Wage Network.  Training is coming up (see advertisement below)

Accreditation Licence Fees
The public education sector has been aligned with the community sector for the assessment of licence fees.   Check out information on how to apply to become an accredited Living Wage employer here:  http://www.livingwage.org.nz/how_to_lw_employer

One of the newest accredited Living Wage Employers, the Common Unity Project, would appreciate donations of old bikes. Their newly appointed bike librarian, based at Epuni School in Lower Hutt, mends the bikes which are made available for members of the community to use. Check out where to take them and how else you can help at: http://commonunityproject.org.nz/

Living Wage Survey

Massey University People, Organisation, Work and Employment Research (MPOWER) team is running a national, online Living Wage survey.

The survey will seek to find out how people feel about the Living Wage in NZ and what they perceive that it means for employees' income level, well-being, engagement at work, workplace productivity and capacity to have a decent standard of living. If you are an employee, manager or employer in New Zealand, please take part - it will only take you five minutes to complete the survey and gives you an opportunity to have your say about an important societal issue. You can access the survey at: https://qasiasingleuser.asia.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_b4ryKT7dFshG2hf

The survey which closes at midnight on 31 October.
