Tweet for a Living Wage
The time has come to speak out for a Living Wage at Auckland Council.  Individuals, groups, businesses who support workers earning enough to survive and participate in society can now tell the Council to lead the way.  The Long Term Plan submissions close March 16, 2015 - that's two weeks away.

The Plan promises to deliver substantial increases in living standards in Auckland but there is not commitment to a Living Wage for the lowest paid in the city - the contract workers (cleaners, security, waste disposal) and directly employed workers.

Your voice could make a difference.  Here's how you do it!
