Multi-Award Winning Cliff Face House
Issued: July 2013 No. 3

featuring... THE AWARD WINNING CLIFF FACE HOUSE IN PALM BEACH
Sliding Windows and Doors
Multi-award winning Cliff Face House draws itself tightly against a layered sandstone rockface in Pittwater, north of Sydney.

Natural Cliff Face
To use the natural cliff face in such a direct manner, with all the uncertainty it brings to the construction process, requires a leap of faith for all involved. Internal Doors also by Acacia Joinery slide into a cavity within the Internal Joinery.

Fixed glass windows have been integrated with the Natural Sandstone Cliff Face giving a natural feel as the glass protrudes out of the Sandstone - this took precise craftsmanship, to ensure it matched the shape of the stone.

Sliding Doors
Large free sliding doors by Acacia hide away, unobscuring the view out over Pittwater.
