Daniel: Trusting God

Lesson 1085: Wisdom: Human vs. God’s, Pt.7
Wisdom is knowledge + insight to face the challenges of life. First you must know the enemy.
The believer has 3 enemies: the world, the flesh, and the devil (Eph.2:1-3).
We cannot obtain the required wisdom without faith and prayer (communion with the source of wisdom.)
Be on guard against envy and selfishness, which lead to disorder and tension.
True wisdom reveals the characteristics of Christ (His aroma) to those we meet. 2 Cor.2:14-15
Prov.3:13-18 describes wisdom as a tree of life.
The tree of life, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, were 2 different trees near each other in the middle of the garden of Eden. Gen.2:9, 16-17
God said that Adam could eat from any tree except “the knowledge of good and evil”.
God clearly indicated that Adam was free to eat from the tree of life. God intended for all people to eat from this tree, since it is a picture of Christ. Rev.2:7, 22:2, 14, 19
In Gen.3:22, eating from the tree of life gives eternal life (the opposite result from the forbidden tree).
In Gen.3:24, the way to the tree of life was guarded, so that we can only come by faith.
