Lesson 68: Unworthy of His Love
Jesus cherishes the love of His bride, the church. When we forsake Him, we ignite His jealous wrath; the love of each believer is very important to Him.
Rev.2:4-5 Jesus said to the Ephesians, “I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.”
Matt.22:36-37 “which is the great commandment in the Law?” Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
1 Cor.2:9 no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him
Eph.6:24 Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love incorruptible.
About This Series
The goal of this series is to become more useful in serving the Lord Jesus Christ, as an instrument in the Redeemer's hand. The theme verses for the series are Ephesians 4:22-24, Philemon 11, 2 Timothy 2:21
- to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,
- and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
- Formerly he was useless to you, but now he is indeed useful to you and to me.
- Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.
