Daniel: Trusting God

Lesson 1060: God's Control, Even Over Unbelievers
The king's reaction was uncharacteristic. God was in control, even of this unbeliever.
The powerful leader of one-world government began to praise God. The king, a pagan, recognized the 4th man in the fire as a deity.
The king admitted defeat in front of his officials, and called the 3 out of the fire. The king’s highest-ranking officials (impeccable witnesses) observed God’s acts.
The king acknowledged 3:28a that the Hebrew God intervened and delivered them. The king commended the Jews 3:28b for their commitment to God.
The king issued a decree 3:29 that nothing should be said against their God. Note the change from the king's contemptuous attitude, 3:15 "what god will be able".
