Daniel: Trusting God

Lesson 1059: Daniel 3:24-27, Pt.2
The 3 men and their clothes showed no sign of fire. Even the smell of smoke was absent. Only the ropes were destroyed, the symbols of the king’s wrath & unbelief.
God used the fire (their time of trial) to remove the bindings and set them free.
Fire can destroy, or it can refine, purify, increase value and strength (such as gold or steel).
God is more than willing to get involved in the lives of all people who trust Him.
The unique characteristic of Christianity (no other religion) is that our God seeks us.
God wants what is best for us long-term (eternity): to let Him take control of our life.
God uses our problems to wake us up, and allow Him to work in our lives. When we serve gladly as faithful instruments, the Spirit witnesses through us.
Others watch us and see God in us when we endure our “fires” with Christian faith.
