Lesson 1068: God With Us
We have God’s promise that in every situation He will be present with us. Christ's name, Immanuel, means "God with us". Isa.7:14 / Matt.1:23, John 14:15-18
Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego were delivered; Stephen was martyred (Acts 7:57).
In both cases they felt the presence of the Lord - that is what makes all the difference
The only difference between the furnace and the future Tribulation is the magnitude.
Fire will engulf the earth; billions will die during the 7-year judgment. Rev. 8:7, 9:18.
Many will persevere & survive this future trial by fire, as did 3 friends. Matt.25:31-46
The elect Matt 24:22 are not Christians but Jews. Isa.42:1, 45:4, 65:9 & 22, Rev.12:6
The remnant of Israel, God’s unfaithful wife, will flee to Petra – saved out of the fire.
God’s flame will not be quenched Ezek.20:47; unbelievers will burn for all eternity.
