Daniel: Trusting God
03/19/2017, by John Kincaid
Lesson 1084: Wisdom: Human vs. God’s, Pt.6
Practical application: Seek God's Wisdom, and you will find true lasting joy.
Worldly joy can vanish in a moment, but the joy of Christ doesn’t go away. It lasts.
A day that begins joyfully often turns into a bitter night, within just a few hours.
Sometimes people you thought were your friends today can become your enemies tomorrow.
Human “wisdom” that seemed to give you joy yesterday turns out to be foolishness.
Nothing in this world is stable. You can’t count on possessions or people to last.
But the joy of Christ is constant when we follow the principles of the Word of God.
This joy survives (and even flourishes) during all the difficult times in life. Our joy in Christ never ends.
Practical application: God's wisdom reflects Christ to those around us.
The Christian lives not in isolation but in fellowship with the community in which God has placed him.
That community is first of all the church of Jesus Christ.
About This Series
