Happy Easter!!!

I hope everyone had a great Easter. But we are still in the Easter season for a full 50 days! Here’s a great article about the length of the Easter season.

This past Sunday was the feast day of St Joseph the Worker, Jesus’ foster father. Here is an article talking about how this feast day was started.

This Wednesday at 6:30pm in the Assisi Room our newly baptized and confirmed will be continuing their mystagogy discussions with a discussion on Spiritual Gifts with Matt. Our other participants will be discussing The Second Coming of Christ with our special guest, Director of Family Faith Formation, Michelle Knox.

We only have 2 more weeks of Wednesday classes before we talk a break for the summer. We hope to see you all these next 2 weeks!

We will also be taking a break from Breaking Open the Word on Sundays and start up again in the fall. Continue attending Mass on Sundays.

Last week I lead our Inquirers and Catechumens on our discussion on the Dignity of the Human Person. We talked about Pope Paul VI’s encyclical: Humanae Vitae, here is a link to read it online. I would also highly recommend reading Christopher West’s book: Theology of the Body for Beginners. Here is a link to purchase it on Amazon.
