Pennants.

Congratulations and thanks to all players for their efforts in what was a very successful season. Four of the six Men's sides made the finals with two (Saturday Division 1 and Thursday Division 5) winning their Division and gaining promotion.

Saturday Division 1 White: Finished the season well clear at the top of the ladder, gaining automatic promotion into Premier League. Lost a cliff hanger to North Beach in the first semi final, but recovered well to beat Kardinya in the elimination final, and then turned the tables on North Beach in the grand final, in another nail biter, to secure the pennant.

Saturday 6 April AM (Semi Final played at Mosman Park):
Mosman Park lost to North Beach 1 (1.5 [75] - 6.5 [80])
Kardinya beat Wanneroo (7 [80] - 1 [74])

Saturday 6 April PM (Elimination Final played at Mosman Park):
Mosman Park beat Kardinya (7.5 [92] - 0.5 [65])

Sunday 7 April AM (Grand Final played at Yokine):
Mosman Park beat North Beach 1 (6.5 [83] - 1.5 [80])

Ladies Bowls
Mosman Park Ladies have joined the winter bowling competition, hosted by the Innaloo Bowling Club. Teams from local bowling clubs compete against each other, enabling players to maintain their skills during winter.

Seven ladies played in the Inter Regional Round Robin Fours, an annual event between Perth's four bowling regions, held this year at Warnbro Bowling Club. South Coastal (the team that included Mosman Park) finished a very creditable second, and two Mosman Park ladies, Sheila Binns and Teresa Brbich, were selected in the South Coastal All Stars team, which also came second.

Vivian's Market Report

Where did the month of April go!? Between all the public holidays including Easter and ANZAC day, April just seemed to fly by.

Our Mosman Park Community Easter Egg Hunt went off with a bang, with a great turn out of kids and a total raised for Telethon of $225.00. Thank you to everyone for your generous donations, they go to a really wonderful cause.

Our community events weren’t the only thing going off in the month of April, we also managed to sell three properties resulting in a bunch of very happy buyers and sellers, all of which will be settled nicely into their properties before the cooler weather really sets in.

In terms of the market place we have seen a significant decline overall in Perth with both sales and rentals reporting a downturn. REIWA reported the following statistics for the week ending 28th April 2019:

SALES:
Total Perth Properties Sold: 344
Same week last year: 532
RENTALS:
Total Perth Properties Rented: 592
Same week last year: 946

Whilst the rental space might be slightly dropping off, we still have a decent demand for larger family homes. Our vacancy rate is still very low across the board, so we are currently looking for more properties to manage, and have a special for the month of May where any new managements receive 2 months free management fees!

Of course, for all of your buying, selling or leasing needs please don’t hesitate to contact us, even if you just need some friendly advice. We are your local property specialists, ready and waiting to help.

We look forward to seeing you all around Mosman Park or down at the Bowling Club.
