Electude organized the Autonomous Driving Experience training course for its customers in the Netherlands. The course was about the future of cars for the students of tomorrow and it gave instructors the opportunity dive into the world of autonomous driving.
Instructors were welcomed at the I-Game Congress on the first day. A conference covered all of the ins & outs of autonomous driving. Themes such as law, finance and technology were discussed. Mr. Stefanos Kokogias of the Royal Institute of Technology KHT presented the latest developments with cooperative driving.
The following day the participants could show how good they are at riding in autonomous vehicles. They followed a course on the racetrack in Lelystad and were given the opportunity to ride in autonomous driving cars from different manufacturers. The day ended with a lively discussion about the future of automotive education that addressed important topics: What are the implications for education when autonomous driving becomes commonplace? What will change and how can educators and students prepare for these changes?
