Providing essential and next-step services to restore hope and help end homelessness in Houston
 Record Breaking Year!

We continue to celebrate the success of this year's Come to the Table event that took place on Thursday, September 21st.  Donors rallied around our mission, contributing more than $616,000 in support of our work to serve Houston's homeless.

We are so grateful for the talented chefs who donated their time and resources as well as many other volunteers who worked behind the scenes.

We also wish to thank everyone who made this year's event one for the books, especially our chairs Bess and Matt Wareing.

Pledge Your Birthday to The Beacon
Zola Rodi, pictured above, celebrated her 7th birthday with friends and family members this past weekend. In lieu of receiving gifts this year, Zola asked her guests to make a donation to The Beacon. She decided that she wanted to be able to help others that were less fortunate this year for her special day.

We are so appreciative of the selfless act Zola has made at such a young age and encourage others to pledge their big day as well! Zola raised approximately $300 which will help us provide much needed services to end homelessness in Houston.

You can pledge your birthday, too, by clicking on the box below!

Join Us at the Brigid's Hope Graduation

Twice a year, we celebrate the success of the women completing the program by spotlighting them at a graduation celebration.  The next graduation will be Wednesday, November 1st at El Tiempo Navigation. This is a wonderful time to learn how the Brigid's Hope program has impacted the lives of these women while also hearing from key staff and volunteers who have helped them through their journey to self sufficiency.

Art Class at The Beacon
We are pleased to announce that our art class has started back at The Beacon. The class is offered monthly for Beacon clients and is taught by volunteer, Haley Bowen. The class is a client favor as it is an outlet for them to de-stress, as well as, showcase their creativity.
