As the Lab continues to innovate and design new models, we're also experimenting with ways to tell our stories. 

Our communications director, Stephanie Ogilvie Seagle, is sharing some new storytelling tools with our Colorado community college partners later this month. We'll give you a sneak peek at one of those tools — the 3 Slide Challenge —  which started as a joke about how we might summarize each of our projects in just three slides. But we realized how it might help us all share our insights more effectively. Here are three examples in the form of a ... 3 Slide Challenge.

Here's an example on Twitter from one of our design partners at Virginia Western Community College, which will now offer career advising, financial aid assistance, and job training in their city's largest public housing project. We're excited to introduce Jessica Lauritsen, EdD, who joins the Lab as a Senior Education Designer working on the Designers In Residence project. She brings 18 years of student affairs work in higher education with a focus on equity and access for all students.
Prior to joining the Lab, Jessica served as the Vice President of Student Affairs at Hennepin Technical College, where she worked for over 10 years. She also worked in student affairs at St. Cloud State University, the University of St. Thomas, and Loyola Marymount University. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys reading, traveling, and outdoor adventures with her family and friends.
