We are building on last month's focus on vision, mission and strategy (MVS) - what top management believes and has declared as the central purpose of the organization, and how the organization intends to achieve that purpose over time.
This month’s focus is on the Leadership component of the Burke-Litwin model for organizational change and performance. Leadership addresses how executives provide overall organizational direction and serve as behavioral role models for their employees on bringing MVS to life. As leaders, we learn to lead first hand after experiencing new situations, making mistakes, celebrating successes, and then adjusting to incorporate our new knowledge.
