March 4th - UofT Political Science hosts Councillor Karen Stintz

It’s 2014 and the University of Toronto Political Science Alumni Association is back in action! Join us for our next event, coming this March 4th, 2014. We will hear directly from Toronto Councillor Stintz on issues currently facing the city, and you will have the opportunity to ask your questions in the post-presentation Fireside Chat, moderated by U of T professor Nelson Wiseman.

March 4th - Volunteer Appreciation Event - Richmond Hill

With the prospect of a spring election heating up, its important for our dedicated Richmond Hill team to reconnect and prepare for campaign season. It’s also important to me, that we take the time to recognize the many hard-working Ontario PC volunteers in our riding & acknowledge all the work done between elections to keep us in fighting form.
I’d like to invite you to join me for a special volunteer appreciation night March 4th at Archibald’s Neighbourhood Pub. Come mix and mingle with fellow Richmond Hill Progressive Conservatives. The event is free. Light snacks and soft refreshments will be provided.
March 8th - Women Empowering Women ft. Councillor Frances Nunziata 7:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Councillor Frances Nunziata will be speaking at the Women Empowering Women Dinner/Dance being held on International Women’s Day. Doors open at 7 pm, dinner begins at 8 pm, the Keynote address is at 9 pm and then enjoy a special Latin dance show at 10 pm. Come to this great event for an opportunity to dance, network and enjoy an open wine bar. Tickets are $100 each and the event is being held at Celebration House, 2696 St. Clair Ave. West.
March 7th - The Canadian Club Presents: The Honourable Chris Alexander 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
In honour of International Women’s Day (Saturday, March 8), please join us on March 7 as the Hon. Chris Alexander, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, speaks to the issue of violence against women. Minister Alexander will highlight the government’s initiatives to address this issue and its support for our country’s immigrant and newcomer women. He will also speak to the government’s commitment to strengthening Canadian citizenship.
