Spotlight on July's JE+DI Wednesday Warrior

Lynn Jolley was selected as July's JE+DI Wednesday Warrior! The purpose of the Wednesday Warrior project is to elevate those that have impacted the profession or built environment in Tennessee. Throughout the month of July we highlighted Lynn - see below from an excerpt of her last post.

Lynn Jolly in her own words: "The Future"
I anticipate another 10 to 15 years honing my craft of writing architectural specifications. I would also like to mentor at least two more architects in the city to become independent architectural specifiers.

When I retire from writing specs, I imagine that I’ll be teaching college students in an architectural program somewhere or teaching young children the art of upcycling (taking junkie things or situations and turning them into something useful, beautiful or both).

Thus far, my career in architecture has been very blessed. There have been ups and down and I anticipate more of the same, which will be alright. “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28."

Do you know a Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion warrior? If so, please nominate them for #WednesdayWarrior!

Dillon Dunn has been selected the JE+DI Warrior for August! Visit AIA TN's social media accounts every Wednesday to learn more about the #JE+DIWednesdayWarrior!

We are currently accepting nominations to recognize AIA, NOMA, AIAS and/or NOMAS members that are advancing issues of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion within the architecture profession and/or the community.
