High School Engineering & Technology Showcase Competition

WHERE: New York Institute of Technology, Harry Schure Hall, Old Westbury, Long Island
WHEN: Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) 
High School student teams are invited to participate in the NYIT Engineering & Technology Showcase Competition to exhibit projects based on science and/or engineering principles. Cash awards and certificates for participating teams! This competition is open to high school juniors to showcase their ongoing science and technology projects. 
Teams must demonstrate understanding of the underlying science and technology concepts for their projects. Projects will be evaluated based on their originality, potential for practical application(s) and the significance of the problem they seek to address. Each team must include at least one female student. 
Supporting companies are invited to provide volunteer time to support activities at the event and/or funding to recognize student projects. 
Please review the competition rules and agenda and complete a sign up form for each team. Please submit your sign up forms for this event as soon as possible as there is limited space available. March 15 is the deadline to submit forms.
