The first ever guidance of its kind to support staff caring for very young babies with life-limiting conditions who need palliative or end of life care has been published by Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Free 3 day course for nurses in North Central and East London 

HE NCEL (Health Education North Central and East London) are sponsoring a FREE 3 day course in paediatric palliative care for nurses in the area. The course, which normally costs £300, is being kindly sponsored by the Health Education North Central and East London (HE NCEL)The programme will enable teams and individual to reinforce their skills and confidence in providing an excellent and consistent palliative care service to the child or young person with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and families and colleagues.

No Pain for Children 2014 Award for Excellence in Paediatric Palliative Care  

Abstract submission is now open for the 2nd Congress on Paediatric Palliative Care: a Global Gathering. To support and encourage the work of young investigators in the field of paediatric palliative care, during the 2nd Congress on Paediatric Palliative Care: a Global Gathering the 2014 No Pain For Children Award For Excellence In Paediatric Palliative Care will be awarded. A first prize of €6,000, and up to three secondary prizes of €3,000, will be awarded the to the best abstracts submitted by Presenting Authors under the age of 35 years. Read more
