This week we are meeting on Monday and Thursday evening from 5:30PM until 8:00PM.
Monday's throughout the preseason will focus on project-based work and are a time for team members to come in to the lab and work on assignments and projects. Thursday's are mandatory curriculum meetings.
As hurricane season is upon us, we are taking steps to track the storms and we will send out guidance later this week in the event that we need to cancel a meeting.
In general, our inclement weather policy is that no one should travel to the lab if they do not feel safe doing so. Please refer to the policies in the handbook for more specifics.
If we do cancel a meeting then we will send the notice out via this same mailing list and in slack. Just because a meeting is canceled does not mean that students cannot participate remotely via slack and work on assignments accordingly.
For the fall, leading up until our season gets started in January, students will be required to attend regular meetings on Thursday evenings from 5:30PM until 8:00PM. Students will need to sign in and out for these meetings to track attendance. Failure to attend the required meetings will result in removal from the team.

Along with the new handbook, there is also a new pre-season calendar for the team and a checklist that new members might find helpful.
Please refrain from turning in ANY forms for the team right now as they are being reviewed. If you turn them in then we'll tell you that you'll just need to turn in another set eventually. In addition, the Forms link on the handbook page does not currently work either - this is intentional.
