Join us for the Consecration of our Memorial Chapel and Columbarium
The Rt. Rev. Brian R. Seage will join us on Sunday, January 24th, at 10a.m.
We will gather next Sunday to celebrate Holy Eucharist together in-person outdoors, weather permitting, at 10 a.m. As part of this service, Bishop Seage will consecrate (or set apart for holy use) our newly renovated Chapel and Columbarium. We will continue to observe safe gathering guidelines which require spacing and masks for everyone. The service will also be broadcast on our Facebook Page and Parish Website as usual.
2021 Annual Parish Meeting!!
Immediately following the outdoor service on Sunday, January 24th we will conduct a brief Annual Meeting. At that time we will present the Annual Budget for 2021, as well as a slate of Vestry Nominations for your consideration. If you will not be in attendance at this meeting but have questions about either the Budget or Vestry Nominations please feel free to call the Church office so we may answer them.
If you, or someone you know, is interested to serve on the Vestry of St. Mark's please contact the Church office. The vestry is our 9-person lay elected leadership body who, along with the Rector, make decisions on behalf of our congregation as directed by the Canons of the Diocese of Mississippi. We will be collecting names of interested individuals in advance of our 2021 Parish Meeting. In order to serve on the Vestry a person must be a confirmed member in good standing.
