A new way to worship at home from St. Mark's!
"House Church" combines our online worship offerings with in-person communion by family group in your home.

Sign up for House Church!

Over the past few weeks, Mother Clelie and I have been working on an idea to share communion with you even while we are under gathering restrictions. Please watch the video above for details.

Our hope is to offer a way that anyone who desires to receive communion may do so safely in our current circumstance. If you have any questions please reach out to us in the Church office.

If you would like one of these kits for your family please call the Church office at 228-896-7597 or email at They will be available for pickup this week.

Centering Prayer

"Transformation is not about great spiritual experiences but coming to terms with our own human weakness... Powerlessness is our greatest treasure"
- Thomas Keating

In-person gatherings of St Mark's Centering Prayer group are currently suspended in support of Bishop Seage's guidelines.  A virtual session will be offered Monday, September 7th, at 12 noon on St Mark's Face Book page.

"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' " 2 Cor 12:9

Chair Yoga

Mary Nichols will offer her regular Chair Yoga class online!

You can find it at the St. Mark's Facbook Page each Wednesday at 3pm. The recording will remain on the page so you can do the workout at your convenience.

How can I help?

Casserole Ministry
One way we can help from home is to keep our church freezer stocked with frozen meals! These are distributed as we find needs within our community. Contact Joel Alford at with questions. You may drop them off at the Church 9am - 1pm Monday thru Thursday or by appointment.

Altar flowers this week were given to the Glory of Almighty God in honor of Matt Grice on his birthday by his family.
Pastoral Care Teams
We have several teams of people who assist our clergy by making phone calls and other simple acts of kindness to help brighten the days of our church members. If you would like to help, contact Mother Clelie at ( or the Church Office.
