Site LCAPs & You

The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a state mandated plan describing goals for all students in each state priority area. In addition, the LCAP helps to guide how district funds will be spent. The LCAP outlines a plan for three years and must be revisited annually, both at the district and site levels.

Each school site in EGUSD should be revisiting their site LCAP this year prior to the Winter Break. During this review, all stakeholders should have a chance to provide meaningful input. This review is not just for site leadership teams or school site councils. Each goal that is part of a site LCAP should be revisited and evaluated to assess the effectiveness of each specific area. You can access your site LCAP plan HERE.

What is the role of an educator in the site LCAP?

Speak Up! Participate! You are the expert in your classroom, or department, and the educator voice is an important one in setting priorities and spending funds. These conversations are significant as they affect everyone in the EGUSD. It is important to have a strong presence during these discussions.
