Dear student

Congratulations on making it this far in the process of your global mobility program! To help you prepare for your upcoming semester (or two) at RMIT University, we have put together some important information for you below. We will be sending you weekly updates, so make sure you read everything carefully.

Kind regards
RMIT Global Mobility staff
1. Courses with Early Start Dates

Some courses start early on 8 February 2016.
(In particular Fashion courses from Associate Degree programs).
Check your course selection to make sure that you arrive on time!

As RMIT runs on two academic calendars - Vocational Education (VE) and Higher Education (HE), it is important you are aware if you will be studying any undergraduate courses from the VE calendar. This includes courses from our Associate Degree programs.
All VE courses commence early on 8 February 2016.

If you are commencing your courses earlier and have any questions, feel free to drop into the Global Mobility desk:
When: 5 February 2016, from 10am to 3pm
Where: Desk 7, Info Corner, Building 22, Ground Floor, 330 Swanston St, City campus

* The latest you can arrive to study these courses is 19 February 2016.

4. Accommodation and Arrival Matters
RMIT has a comprehensive accommodation website to help you find out about temporary and long term accommodation options. View a full range of housing options on the accommodation website and the RMIT Housing Database

Check out an article on the cheapest suburbs to rent near RMIT campuses.

Please Note:
- You need to sign in using your RMIT login (see instructions above) to view accommodation provider contact details in the Housing Database.
