It's official, we have our new Board of Directors in place! We have our first board planning session on Sept 16th where we will be reviewing your input from the Think Tank Session in May, defining our next steps and start planning our next meeting.
This time last year we were just planning our very first get together to see if there was enough interest in the community to establish a local chapter. As I reflect back I realize just how much we have accomplished in such a short period of time and some of the huge milestones we've achieved:
We were voted as a full fledged chapter by the ACMP Board of Directors in February
We have grown in size and now have in excess of 120 members
We held three exciting and thought provoking meetings (October, January and May)
We held our first AGM and elected our new board
So much of that is thanks to the participation and enthusiasm of our chapter members. I look forward to our journey together as a chapter and am very excited about all the possibilities and opportunities ahead!
"This is an exciting time for ACMP and the members we serve. The release of The Standard is a vital cornerstone in advancing the change management profession.”
ACMP President, Donna Brighton
ACMP members have exclusive access to review the Standard and are encouraged to participate in an online platform for discussion, questions and comments on the Standard thru to October 2, 2014, at which time ACMP will release the Standard to the general public.
