It has been an extremely busy time for us in the last month and there have been considerable changes! We welcome two new members of staff to the team.
Roundoak would like to welcome Nathan McKenzie to the team. Nathan joins us from County Tyrone in Northern Ireland. Nathan has been brought up in a farming background and has extensive experience in all areas of farming life, livestock and machinery.
We also welcome Laura Fleming, who will be working part-time in the farm office as PA to Norman Coles. Laura originally worked as a Social Worker but has joined the team, and works around looking after her three small children!
There have been several events at the Farm this month.
We were very excited to hold our first ever Clay Pigeon shoot at our sister farm Kingsnorth - even one year old Jack enjoyed the event!
Roundoak was delighted to welcome our conservation grazing partners to lunch under the trees. The weather was unusually kind and we were able to enjoy lunch in the dappled sunlight of our unique five acre woodland area!
Roundoak is also delighted to welcome The Loose Women Morris Dancers who will be performing alongside guests - The Cinque Port Morris Men and The Screaming Banshees. Dancing will start at 8:00pm on the 14th July outside the barn at the Farm.
(Please do let us know in advance if you are planning to come.)
