The Stardust Christmas Enchantment
Les Misérables

Apple Tree Productions presents Les Misérables, a five-day musical theater camp. This condensed version of the beloved, award-winning musical features gifted students from all over the South Sound area, all of whom attended Apple Tree Productions’ winter camp. Apple Tree Productions is a company devoted to providing excellent afterschool and extracurricular drama instruction through the production of plays. Drama teaches self-starting, organization, confidence, leadership, responsibility and community in addition to acting, singing and dancing. Expecting students to create in a professional yet caring environment is the best way to show them they’re capable of greatness.

Ayron Jones

Ayron Jones and The Way With The Brown Edition

After a fabulous Blue Lotus and The High Council concert the night before, Rhythm & Rye presents a highly anticipated Ayron Jones and The Way alternative rock concert for New Year’s Eve. Seattle-born singer, songwriter and guitarist Ayron Jones was discovered by Sir Mix-A-Lot in 2012. Since then, he’s opened for Rock and Roll Hall-of-Famers Run DMC and B.B. King. He’ll release his sophomore album in 2017. The Brown Edition, an eight-piece funk band from Olympia, will open the show. The band is well-known for its high-energy performances. It was awarded “Best Band in Olympia” two years in a row by The Weekly Volcano and “Seattle Musicians of the Year” by RAWartist Seattle. Happy New Year, Olympia!

Airbound Underground

The Brotherhood Takes Flight!

Airbound Underground presents The Brotherhood Takes Flight! at The Brotherhood Lounge. This spectacular aerial event is a returning, bi-monthly performance of trapeze and fabric performers. This month’s guest performer is Bridget Gunning, an aerialist, dancer and coach with 15 years of professional experience. Audience members are encouraged to stay for an after-party dance hosted by DJ First Lady. From Femme de Fabrique to Tallhouse Arts Consortium, original, aerial art has been produced in Olympia for over 10 years. Now Airbound Underground offers students and performers the ability to train, condition, and collaborate in the creation of unique works of art.
