Fall 2016

We hope your semester is off to a good start! We are delighted to be welcoming Jeffrey Wayno, who recently earned a Ph.D. in History at Columbia, to the Humanities & History Division.  Jeffrey holds a CLIR Postdoctoral Fellowship in Medieval Data Curation, which we are co-sponsoring with the Department of History.  Jeffrey’s work will focus on the enhancement of digital tools, ChartEx or Charter Excavator in particular, to assist with the analysis of large corpora of medieval documents. Our Digital Humanities Librarian, Bob Scott, will co-direct Jeffrey's work along with Professor Adam Kosto.
