Greetings!

This month's edition of HomesteadCS E-Newsletter includes:

Indiana Fields of Fear LOCATION CHANGE

Indiana Fields of Fear: Evil on Erie Street (IFoF), a local charity haunt that benefits HomesteadCS’, is relocating to the old Newton Oil Company, Inc. building (1920 Wilson St.). Relocating IFoF helped save the historical red brick building in Lafayette, Ind. and provided a permanent location for the haunt.

Executive Director, Marie Morse stated “Not only are we bringing attention back into our original neighborhoods, but we are also teaching our young volunteers leadership skills and community involvement. We are so thankful for the Newton family’s partnership with us to make this happen.”

IFoF is a professional charity haunt that supports the programs of HomesteadCS. Many of the people that perform in the haunt or donate their time, are youth within the community. Through IFoF, youth learn valuable skills on how to be involved in the community, along with developing their leadership skills. The IFoF as a whole, brings people back into the community to support a great cause.  Last year over 5000 people attended the haunt.

Funds raised from the IFoF support our Housing Counseling and Education Programs; most of which we provide at no charge to clients. These programs include: Pre-purchase Counseling, HomeBuyer Education, Home Repair Grants, Reverse Mortgage Counseling, Down Payment Assistance, Foreclosure and Delinquency Counseling, Tenant Education, Bank on Tippecanoe. All community members are welcome.
IFoF will be open the following days: October 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 30th, 31st. Which equals a total of 10 days! (great publicity for any company). Last year alone we had over 4,500 people come to our professional charity haunt.

Sponsorships are available for 2015! (click here for sponsorship form). Click here for more IFoF information. If you would like to volunteer, please contact HomesteadCS at 765-423-1284.
