Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,
We wish to update you regarding the progress of our building project, so you will remain up to date and can continue your prayers for us.
By the grace of God, the construction is progressing well. As of this moment – all the dry walls are in place, the toilets are installed, the kitchen is almost done, the stage and the media room are built, the infrastructure for the ventilation system has been placed, and the electricity wiring is in its final stages. Over the next few weeks, we hope to complete the acoustic ceilings installations and the painting of the walls. Afterwards, the “cleaner” part of the construction will begin, which includes connecting all the air-conditioning units, lamps, sound system, furnishing the place and setting all the electrical appliances.
Already from the second week of the construction and on, we started having our Shabat services at the site. In order to have our services at the construction site, we recruited volunteers every Friday to help and prepare the place for the service (clearing and cleaning the place and making it safe enough). The services we’ve had so far were really blessed, in spite of the tremendous challenges involved. Next week we intend to celebrate the “Seder” night (Passover’s evening feast) at the site and we expect 130-150 people (some will be guests). We are very excited about this event, although we are aware of the enormous difficulties and challenges involved, and our prayer is that the Lord’s name will be glorified in our midst.
Our building project was divided into several stages. The first stage includes the main construction works, and for that stage, all the funds have already been raised. Since the first stage is in advanced phases, we started planning the second stage and to raise the money for it. The second stage includes the furnishing and the equipping of the building (Kitchen, offices, classrooms, as well as the sound and media systems in the auditorium). As soon as we have started planning the second stage, the Lord has provided enough to cover about half of it and we are full of thanksgiving for that. Please pray He will continue to fill our barns, as He has so faithfully done so far, so we could complete the second stage as well.
We appreciate your ongoing prayers for us as a congregation and for the safe and smooth completion of the building project and for its funding.
Thank you for standing with us and for your love.
