Winter 2020 Newsletter

Greetings from the Director,
We are so happy to bring you our first newsletter which shares a bit about us and the exciting activities we are planning. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve stroke families in our community and we send our warmest wishes to all for healthy and happy holidays!

Welcome New Board Members

Diane Henrickson as our Stroke Resource Center Ambassador. Diane was a British Army Nurse who also held administrative positions with NATO and provided services to the U.S. Diplomatic Community and refugee groups. As our Ambassador, she visits local living communities and health care agencies to spread the word about our stroke services. If you know of a place she should visit, email us at email strokeresourcecenter@gmail.com

Dr. Lorre Laws is faculty at the University of Arizona College of Nursing and Social and Behavioral Sciences. She is our liaison to programs at UArizona that provide student experiences with community organizations, like the SRCSA. You will see these bright and talented UArizona students at our events!

Our New Location
We are deeply grateful to Hacienda at the River for donating space to hold our activities. We are located at “The Stable” at Hacienda at the River, 2720 E. River Road, Tucson, AZ 85718. See the insert or visit our website for the activities that we hold at this location on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons.
