Lent Retreat 2017

We are very excited to announce our Lent Retreat for 2017 beginning with an Introduction on Monday 27th February!

This year, the content for our retreat has kindly been provided by Father James Martin SJ, a Jesuit priest and bestselling author who lives in New York City. You can read more about him below!

All the key information:
  • The retreat will consist of seven 20 minute sessions containing reflections and excerpts from Fr. Martin's book, Seven Last Words.
  • Each session is a meditation on the last phrases Jesus uttered on the Cross.
  • Seven Last Words is used with the kind permission of HarperOne, and throughout the retreat, links will be provided to purchase the book.
  • The sessions will be released once a week.
  • As always, we are in collaboration with Sacred Space so you will be able to follow along with them too!
We hope that by meditating on the excerpts taken from Fr. Martin’s book, you will come to see Jesus in a new light, and enter into a deeper relationship with him. With Fr. Martin's words guiding us through this retreat, we will discover how completely Jesus understands us, and how we can turn to him in every situation in our life.
